The shoes survived, and basically became Robbie's "get wet" shoes. He told me once after this that "they feel so cool with puddles inside as you walk".

The suit sadly did not. It was a nice suit, and it shrunk quite a bit - not intended to get wet. The tie was actually ok, though. The white shirt survived, however, but he's never worn it again.
